For Ajay, we built a single-storey rear extension with a flat roof, incorporating the existing kitchen to create a large communal space. We also installed a new deck in the rear garden and refurbished the ground-floor bathroom.

It was fate that brought Kantec to James Barclay’s Teddington home, where he lives with his wife and two sons. We were undertaking the refurbishment of a listed building further down Park Road, which was a very large, high-pressure project. James lived round the corner. ‘We were looking for builders to do our extension anyway, and I’d seen their boards further up the road and had watched the progress,’ said James. When a member of the team parked right outside his house, James asked for a business card and the relationship began.

We added a rear extension to this property to create a larger lounge and kitchen-diner. The whole ground floor received wet underfloor heating and brand new flooring for a seamless finish.

Denise wanted a Harvey Jones kitchen and needed to extend the ground floor to accommodate it. As part of the work, a utility room was created with an integrated shower. The loft conversion included two bedrooms and a shared shower room.
